F.A.Q.

Here's how a shoot typically goes:

• You contact me via instagram, email or this website.
• I get back to you as soon as possible and we discuss your project. You then chose a date and time through my Contact/Booking page.
• At this point, I will ask you to fill out a consent form and proceed with payment. Once I receive the payment, your session is booked.
• The day of the shoot, we take a moment to discuss your project and I show you some references and inspiration. Then it's shooting time! I will guide through the entire session, demonstrating poses, adjusting the light and set around you and making sure you're physically and emotionally comfortable the entire time. I won't touch you to adjust your pose without asking you first. If you need a break, we'll take one. I usually play music while we shoot so let me know if there's anything specific you want to listen to!
• In the week following your shoot, I will send you a contact sheet with my selection of pictures. You will pick the ones you want me to edit.
• You will get your edited picture in the month following your selection (though I'm usually much faster). Then you can post them wherever you want! :)

Absolutely not. I am strongly and vocally against AI in artistic spaces and will never use it at any point during the process of crafting your pictures. All the editing I do is by hand. Additionally, please do not generate AI "pictures" as a reference to send me - I will not take them into consideration and it will be a waste of ressources. We'll create a moodboard based on pieces by actual artists (paintings, sculptures, pictures, costumes...) to use as true, genuine artistic references!

Yes! A big part of my models have never done it before. My goal is to turn everyone into a piece of art regardless of age, size, gender, etc. I'll talk you through it and make sure you're comfortable the entire time!

Not at all, that's for you to decide. And if you want to try nude modeling, please know you can change your mind at ANY point during the booking process or during the session. We'll switch to drapes/costumes right away!

I have some costume and accessories (from size S to L), but feel free to send me pictures of costumes/outfits you'd want to wear. I'd love to see nightgowns, victorian-looking garnments, lingerie, dresses, medieval shirts, swords, capes... also feel free to bring accessories or jewlery if you think they'll fit the vibe.

Unless discussed beforehand, I ask that you do not wear makeup (or the smallest amount possible). This gives me full creative control when editing. Also, if you're posing nude, please bring your favorite body oil/moisturizer if you have one! Shiny skin looks amazing in dramatic lighting.

I'm in Montréal, near the Mont Royal metro station. I shoot in my shared apartment (we'll be in a room by ourselves). I am on the second floor, so there is a flight of stairs and the place is unfortunately not wheelchair accessible. We have a cat that likes to watch me shoot so let me know if you're allergic!

I'll only publish the pictures with your consent. As for you: you can publish them wherever you want, but I ask that my name (Lesath Photography) or my handle (@lesath.photography) are mentioned every time, and that you tag me if it's on instagram. It helps people find my work! I also ask that you don't edit the pictures or add filters to them when you repost them.

PLEASE NOTE : You cannot use the pictures for commercial purposes (promoting something, album covers, prints...). If that's what you're looking for, contact me and we'll make a special contract together.

One of you has to book through my platform and proceed with payment to book the shoot - you can then decide how to split the cost between yourselves. You can also select to pay cash the day of the shoot.

Please note: if you select "duo" shoots, you should expect to be doing duo poses. Please don't pick this option if you want two sets of solo poses - though we can take a couple solo shots for each of you if we have time at the end, duo packages are for duo poses. If you want individual shots, please book a normal package.
